Very hostile environment
So I came to Regis Salon @ 2:00pm for a cut and color. It is 7:00pm!
5 hours! Never again. The stylist that is doing my hair is very hostile and basically saying I will not leave without getting these services done. She claims she is a supervisor and she is one of the highest levels in the salon.
She was only there at this salon covering due to them being short staffed and needing to hire more. I can see why they don’t have people. I have never had this experience in a salon if you want to call it that. NEVER AGAIN WILL I COME TO REGIS SALON!
I am so upset it almost brought me to tears. I am writing corporate on this one. I want my 162.00 back. You should not have to sit in a salon and the stylist tell you that is not my right to tell her how to cut my hair or color it.
I would like to hear from someone.
I want my money back. Thank you!

Literally the worst
I went to get my hair trimmed yesterday evening because my usual stylist is booked. I ended up leaving with over two inches chopped off, and let me just add that she had my hair turned the opposite direction of the mirror so I wasn’t even sure what she was doing.
I went in with an even shoulder length angle cut and left looking like joe dirt! I had to tell her to fix the one side because it was terribly uneven. The one thing that made me more upset is she cut off my points in the front where is was angled down. I work as a corporate nurse and looking professional is part of my job.
I want to look presentable So families can feel comfortable leaving their loved ones in our care. Today I had to go to two different meetings with my hair looking like I watched a DIY YouTube video on how to cut your own hair. Having nice hair is part of a women’s vanity and I feel very self conscious. I went to my friend who works part time at master cuts and she was at a loss on how to fix it that she called for her manager to come.
Her manager was able to blend the chopped up pieces but couldn’t do too much more. She was livid and walked me down to Regis, where I had it cut and showed them the pictures and what she wasn’t able to fix. The stylist basically told me there was not much I could do since I went else where to have it fixed. In all reality, can you really blame anyone for not wanting to go back.
My hair is very fine and takes months to grow. I just can not understand how a simple trim request turned into a *** job.
I feel something should be made right with this situation. I will upload a before picture of my hair just a few days prior to what it looks like now.
My experience working for Regis Corporation
Ok I want to first say that I started working as a beginner stylist for Regis in Enid Oklahoma 2007, in 2013 I became manager of that Regis . I loved my job , I took pride in my job and I worked hard to make sure we were successful .
In 2016 we closed , nor my friends whom were also managers of Okc they told me we were going to close but my district leader waited until three days prior to closing . Now she asked all of us to spend that weekend closing for her and she would give each of us 250 . We never saw that money . I also never got my manager bonus for that entire year .
You can pretty well assume how I feel about your corporation . Anyway I than work for a smartstyle here in Lawton ok , I worked there a short time and was offered a manager position so I gave my two weeks and quit .
Well today my friend who is venting on his own personal page about issues with a certain person lieing to his clients I decide to share this post to my ( own) personal page . This is my page and I can vent how I like and your entire crew from the smartstyle on Quanaparker decided to start drama publicly on my page including your district leader whom I m not even friends with I will be sharing all of this to everyone so that everyone knows what kind of people Regis corporation are .

I ordered gift card $ 50 value for $40 last week. I got two emails, one as my order confirmation and tge second one as Order Rejection with no reason.
I called them, they said the reason is their computer system problem could not process my order. It is absolutely ridiculous and weird. I trusted them and bought their product but I was cheated by them, we as customer could not trusted them at all. they got my information and all of sudden cancelled my order.
if they do not want sell gift card, do not advertise the SHITTTSS. Their business is a dirty business. Are they SCAM ? YES, they may be a scam.
I am waiting for my money back. they charged our money in oneinutes, but they need 7 days to return my money.
is this fair ? Not at all, this is a SHITTS.
Disappointed former employee
I worked for Regis for 30 years and loved it. However, the last 5 years was nothing but ***.
Too many personnel changes at home office and within the company. Education program eliminated, low pay, very little incentives and no appreciation for its employees. This company was once the greatest in the world but now it’s crap. Closing hundreds of salons and losing great stylists.
RED-FLAG. Company needs to realize that without stylist. There is no Regis. Needs to hire great CEO, better Human Resoure, hire better educator that is willing to educate the stylists instead of glorifing his self fame at the expense of others.
Current lead educator is not qualified to lead this company.
Perhaps hiring back people like Paul Finkelstein, John Briggs, John Exline, Scott Oremland and others that loved this company and knew how to run it properly. Just saying!
Bad one with manager after si many years

I was a part-time employee in the SmartStyle store I was working in. After the manager put in a two week notice two other stylist put in their notice.
Leaving me there to work alone. I was reassured someone would be hired as soon as possible. I had to immediately go to full-time no pay raise! I was at least given the choice of having Wednesday off and what other day I chose Sunday.
I still did all the work; aside from helping customers with their retail purchases I also had to read stock the shelves, clean the floors, clean the mirrors, clean the stations, clean the back room, set up sales tables and keep them tidy. Advertise for clients, keep good relations with the Walmart store manager. I would come in early to start laundry fold towels Etc and then I would stay late to stock shelves. I basically could only do 10 to 12 clients a day period less if there was a color or a perm.
I worked so hard I ended up in the hospital. Because I had work so hard I had caused my resistance levels to go down and contracted e-coli in my bloodstream and my liver. I spent three days in ICU and two more days in the hospital for observation. I had to have a PICC line installed in my right arm that went directly to my heart so I can administer antibiotics through that every day for another 10 days.
During that time the new market area manager got angry with me and fired me! She over the phone, ordered me out of the salon and told me not to return that I was banned from entering that salon. A few moments after I hung up the phone she texted me telling me to leave my keys. As far as I was concerned she fired me for all intense and purposes.
I was sure at the time she had just been angry and was going to call me and say I'm sorry please just let me know when you can return. I never got that call nor did I get a call from the regional director either. I contacted my boss and told her that I needed to file workers comp claim. I have not heard anything from Regis Corp or SmartStyle or the manager there or the regional or any other person.
I'm having a very difficult time getting in touch with HR. It's as if they don't exist. The funny thing was that market area manager that fired me was suspiciously transferred 70 miles away to another market area. Still no contact with a regional or with Regis Corp whatsoever.
I have a huge doctor bill a huge hospital bill and now another surgery related to that and I'm on the hook for it. With no job! Don't work there, just saying don't work there! They're poorly managed at least in the area that I live.
If you want to know what area that is you'll have to respond to my post. Everybody quits everybody is angry they all have the same complaints. Overworked underpaid underappreciated I could go on and on. I filed for unemployment and was told that it was reported that I quit due to being unhappy with working conditions.
That was a bold-faced lie! When someone orders you out of the place you work and tells you not to come back and that your band and leave your keys that is being fired!

When you report things to your SDL about your Salon you can expect retaliation, and they are "OK" with that.
Blatant violation of Title VII laws !!! Racist crooks!!!
